I Speak English and Filipino

The English and the Filipino language, two of the most primary and most widely used media of communication in the Philippines. They have provided linkages to every Filipino and have generated the country's unity and welfare. This indeed has proved that speaking in Filipino and English language are very important keys of our nation's growth and development.


However, as these languages continue to spread; improper and indecent words gradually sprout. People who have learned to use the language in their everyday lives have developed a new but unacceptable words and ways of speaking English and Filipino. These people are unaware that as they continue to speak the language in this manner, misunderstandings or worst, physical fights may happen. Speaking without such kindness may result not only up to this scenario but in bigger cases as well.

Knowing this in mind, each of us Filipinos must have the initiative to speak English and Filipino properly and with kindness. In this way a better and stronger bond with everyone could be attained. Though it is not necessary for us to speak to people with flattering and praising words, we must be true and just to all of the people we talk to without compromising politeness and benevolence.
